The site is a free informational utility that summarizes security deposit laws, performs calculations based on those summaries, and generates template documents. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and creates no attorney-client relationship. See the full disclaimer.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape the site at abusive volumes, misrepresent generated documents as attorney-prepared, or use the site to harass anyone.
4. No warranty
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site's operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on information or documents generated by the site.
6. Intellectual property
Site content and code are owned by the site's operators. Statutes and official legal texts belong to their respective governments. You own the demand letters you generate.

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
