Privacy Policy

The short version

Your calculations — deposit amounts, dates, names, addresses — run entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. The only personal information we ever collect is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us.

Calculator & demand letter data

Everything you type into the calculator and demand letter form stays on your device. The demand letter form uses your browser's sessionStorage so a page refresh doesn't lose your work; that data is deleted automatically when you close the tab. The PDF is generated locally in your browser.

Email address

If you enter your email to download a demand letter, it is sent directly to our email newsletter provider to add you to our tenant-rights list. We don't store it anywhere else. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share your email.

Analytics

We use Plausible, a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views and anonymous events (like "a calculation was completed"). No cookies are set, no personal or financial values are included in events, and no data is used to identify or track you across sites. Because there are no cookies, there is no consent banner.

Attorney evaluation form

If you choose to submit the optional "free case evaluation" form, the contact details you provide are forwarded to us so we can route your inquiry. We only do this with your explicit consent on the form itself.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no logins, no stored calculations.
• No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
• No sale of personal information, ever.
